anyone looking for a set of triple points that fit the stock yamaha ski I have a brand new pair for sale. I ordered them and told Scott that I had the pilot skis on my attak but he sent me the yammi size by mistake. Sat in my trailer for one year in the original package, includes the ski savers...
Jon,
That is exactly what it felt like, almost like it would not shift as the rpm's increased. I am taking to dealer on friday for first oil change so I will have them look into that, thanks
I was running in hard wet packed snow and I have felt the loss of power in powder before...this was not the same.....something was missing.....no power what so ever and the engine was pushing high rpms but had no power.
I don't know a whole lot about engines so I need someone's help. I picked up my sled today from the dealer after they installed studs on it. Went out in about 34 degreee weather and rode a great 50 miles or so. On the way home it felt like the sled was only running on one cyclider. RPM's were up...
back in black
If you buy black get used to guys just hanging around your sled outside the bars with little spots of drool coming off their lips.....I got a black GT and when I look at it I get a little chubby...much sweeter than the red. IMO
Riding this weekend in tug hill, went up a very steep hill, turns out the trail was closed because of a real icy patch 3/4 up the hill. Did not know this of course as the guy leading and everyone else was studded...not the new 07 attak I got, got 3/4 up, came to a stop and started sliding...
I am studding mine after a weekend of riding without them. Tried going up a pretty steep hill and got half way up and started sliding backwards. All buddies had no problem with hill since they were studded.. Scared me so much dropped off at dealer and had them put 106 studs on it. No more...
Skidozer.....buffalo boy here too, do you ride local? we got a camp in Tug Hill and ride most of the time there....what is good around the buffalo area? went from Hamburg to Eden last weekend, nice ride but too much road crossing for my liking. Just looking for some guidance on what is GREAT in...
I was thinking of the same for my wife.....and good point something to play around on when she decides to keep her tushy at home cause it's too cold out
Here is my review of my first legitimate ride on the 07 Attak GT, I say legitimate because I probably have done 8000 laps around my yard before I actually got her out on the trail. The day was not without mishap as while loading the sled up I got it stuck in a snow bank and burried the rear...
I bought the Attak GT and rode a quick 40 miles yesterday...long track is great for stability at high speeds and does bridge the bumps...still breaking it in but the power is incredible. My buddy is a die hard poo guy and rode the Attak about 10 miles and stated " I might buy the yamaha and put...
Great review...picking up my 07 attak gt tomorrow....the more I read the larger the grin on my face gets....taking a lot of heat from the old "doo" pals about switching to yamaha....but wait till they get on mine and ride it...I just hope they are honest about how really SWEET it is....
Was a Ski-Doo guy, 03 Legend SE 600, picking up my new Attak GT tomorrow. based on this forum changed out the skis to pilots...can't wait, tons of snow here in Buffalo
