Well she rode my Apex and now she loves the seating position. I figure get her the Attack with the longer track for a little nicer ride.
She goes about 140 lbs, would the GT be a better option or for her weight and relatively easy riding would the standard suit her fine.
She has a Vector GT now and has never touched the shocks....coming off mid 90s Indy's they all feel like a caddy.

My vote is for the GT. Amazingly smooth, way nicer ride than my Apex GT.

I preface this by saying I have not ridden the 07 Attak GT, but I have ridden the 06 Apex GT. The shocks on the GT are silky smooth and the ride quality was absolutely amazing. I would get her the GT too. The last thing you need is her complaining about the ride quality. You need her to say "Hey, when are we going to ride again?"

You might condsider a long track Phazer. Lighter and easy to handle and a fun machine for yourself on days she doesn't ride. Likely more power in '08. My choice for my wife.

I was thinking of the same for my wife.....and good point something to play around on when she decides to keep her tushy at home cause it's too cold out
My wife wants the Attack Gt. She rode one at demo ride and you could not pull her off of it.

You better buy two one for her, and one for you. Because if you buy her the Attak and she lets you ride it. You won't want to ride yours any more.

I have a new RTX. She rode it and loved the riding position.
Anyways I called around, it seems no one even wants her Vector GT on trade with a whopping 300 miles.
Few more calls to make tomorrow, I told her to get the Apex/Attack right away but, why listen to me?
She wouldnt be caught dead on a Phazer.

I picked up a '06 Attak last season for my wife. She loved it. This year I installed the GT clickers up front and the GT Ohlins EC in back to make a great riding sled even better. From my seat of the pants experience riding sleds with the Ohlins monoshock skid they're pretty hard to beat for comfort.

I bought an ApexER for my wife. GT for me. I can't pry her hands away from it now. She wouldn't consider driving anything else, except for maybe an Attak. These sleds make riding such an easy chore its really not far fetched to put women on them. Just don't get stuck!

Well,if you think you lose too much on the trade, maybe you could just buy a Apex or attack seat for the vector, trim the gas tank cover a few inches and you got a whole new seating position,, Have her sit on the Nytro, it is pretty much like sitting on your apex...just a suggestion..many people have done this mod , much more comfy..
