    Exhaust leak question(fixed)

    Exhaust flex pipes 101 Had the same problem on an o3, all 4 broken. Updated parts will interchange they just don't have the exhaust temp fitting in them.

    What's that noise? - exhaust leak under seat

    Exhaust noise I have an 03 with 2171 miles on it and all 4 flex tubes that come from the motor to the exhaust pipe are broken. REAL loud and extra stinky as the exhaust comes up under the hood. If it is an 03 the part has been updated 2 times so I am thinking there is a problem with these.

    Exhaust joint problems

    How many out there have had problems with the flexible joint that comes from the motor to the exhast pipe? The part has been updated 2 times and I have one to service that has only 2171 miles on it and three of the four are broken. Sled is ridden hard but never rolled or crashed. Just wondering...

    Are roller secondarys a worthy modification for the RX-1?

    Frostbite, In reply to why hasn't anyone made small wheels to go in the button holes? In 97 Hymark performance in Murry Utah did just that with double roller bearings running on a steel helix that was radiused. They did however run into problems breaking the roller holders on the higher H.P. sleds.

    Getting rid of underhood corrosion.

    corrosion This will not remove corrosion but it will keep it out. It's called Bullfrog rust inhibitor it's a little yellow cup with double face tape on it, it is a vapor barrier. I have them under the hood of all my sleds and there is NO sign of corrosion or rust even on the exhaust. Restored...

    Lookin for a .060 secondary clutch spacer!!

    Do you have any automotive machine shops close? Small block chevy valve spring shims will work they come in .015,.030 and .060 hope this info will help.

    Question about cylinders

    Cylinders and block-same wood? Voco, I have bored and sleeved a RX-1 motor but not a Vector or Rage.
