Does this new 3 cylinder engine have nicasil plated clylinders? Are the cylinders and the crankcase made of the "same wood"? I´m asking this becouse I´m interested to buy a Vector whit a turbo.. so if the engine blows can it be fixed whit oversize pistons?

Currently, Wiseco is offering standard bore pistons only. They do offer over size pistons for the RX-1. My guess is they will for the Vector also. I believe that the Vector has Nikasil cylinders.

If you ever really need a set of overbore Vector pistons, JE will make you a set in about 2 weeks. Going to cost you about $600 USD though...

Cylinders and block-same wood?
Voco, I have bored and sleeved a RX-1 motor but not a Vector or Rage. The cylinders are not the same "wood" as the block, they are an aluminum sleeve with the block cast around them. The sleeves are a better I.E. purer grade of aluminum to bond the nickasil to than the casting material of the block. Hope this answers the WOOD question.
