I was just starting to settle in to the comfort zone having built a real good motor, right in the 300 HP range, tuned spot on and beat some real fast, newer and pushing more boost sleds the last few weekends of Drags, even though its a hill climber mostly.
Got lucky in the fact that I was on a...
Well I decided to go with the Ballistic EVO 2 Made in USA and not China
It has 410 CCA and is so small and light it doesent feel real. Weight savings does not feel like a word that applies, its more like pulling your battery and putting a feather in its place. Hope it works. The...
Ordered this the other day. we will see how it does

So I picked up a super sport bike early this summer. First let me say it is the most fun a guy can have off the snow. I have to say I have not met anything on the road that can keep up or challenge me, (not that it does not exist). What a thrill to drop 2 or 3 gears and pass anything in 2-4...

Also will have 4 good RX1 stock rods soon, 6000...
Also if I may add...

Sled on! :yam:
New 2560 mounted with new intake and covers all in place except right side. Still waiting on the motor to come back.
Also made a new gas rack while I am waiting.

Over boost leads to new pistons +
On some long pulls the other day I noticed the boost gauge pegged... about that time the sled started loosing the top end. I nursed it back to the truck and back at the shop after a pressure test, leak down test and finding the signal hose to the waste gate...
Good thought... I did notice a bit of oil coming out when I blew through it with an air hose. pulled all hoses off the carbs. cleaned and checked for leaks. Pulled BOV again and cleaned and checked, checked all tubes into carb boots all unrestrected... all seem good but it still does not...
