We generally use PA as our hub and ride in all directions from here. I ride mostly off trail and big bump. Last weekend we rode backcountry style up to Candle Lake and back. I also own a cabin on Clam Lake, so we tend to spend as much time as possible riding up there.
I have never rolled it before, so I don't think that I could have bent anything. (Although I have heard that one before)
So from the sounds of it I should just order the relocation kit no matter what. I am all for improving the handling on my sled, but I do have a riser on. Will the...
There is most definitely stiffness without the skis on the ground. I noticed that when cat walking, it was still stiff.
I will have to make sure I check the bushings. I can see the billet bushings being a big improvement, but what is the benefit of the steering relocator?
I have my spare belt mounted on my belt cover, so I know that isn’t it.
I plan on tearing it down one night this week. I will definitely post my findings.
I thought that ice may have been the issue at first, but I thawed it out and it is just as bad. Really scratching my head here. I haven't hit anything and there is nothing bent out of shape that I can see, exterior wise. I haven’t looked under hood yet, so the problem could very well be...
I am looking for some help with a steering issue I am having with my 08 Nytro. This is not the normal stiff steering that every Nytro has, I can handle that. What I have going on is nearly impossible steering, even in the powder I can almost not turn the bars. I know there is no ice in the...
Sounds like the starter relay. I tried to start mine in the fall, not cold at all, after sitting all summer covered in my shed. The relay was still acting up even in those conditions. I changed it and have had no similar issues all winter. Moisture somehow gets into these relays even under...
I have one on mine and it made a world of difference. I had serious issues with mine in the powder until I put the Backcountry on, and now I love it. You will want to remove your tunnel protectors though or you won't have enough clearance to the front heat exchanger.
I removed mine two seasons ago and I run an 1.75" Back Country. Never had any issues with the track rubbing on anything. A word of warning though, if you remove the protectors on the heat exchanger be extremely careful. It is very easy to crack.
Yes it will get stronger. It isn't necessarily at 500 miles though, it can vary between machines. Mine was fully broke in at about 500 miles, but one of my buddies took until almost 900 miles before his completely broke in. Some guys have been saying they are still getting stronger at 1500...
The relays are rubber mounted. You can pull the relay, while still plugged in, off of the frame and there is enough give in the wires to pull the relay out the front end of the sled and disconnect it. There isn’t a ton of give but it is just enough to be able to unplug the relay. Hopefully...
A friend of mine has an 06 Attak that will not start. I haven't had a chance to look at it yet, but I figured I should get an idea of where to start first. The fuel pump runs when the key is turned on and it turns over no problem. However that is all it does, he said there is no firing at all...
