There is none here in eastern washington to speak of. Kids are about to go nuts. I have not even been back on here this year as I can't even get excited to think about riding. Was nice to read some posts again. Lets hope the snow gods decide to give us some snow :nos
Sorry for not posting. Snw went away a long time ago and I have not visited the site in while. I think you would be fine with the kit on a train sled. I have not used it that much. It is fun when you are in a flat meadow or something messing arround. I can't say I have hit the button on...
I have had it for two years on my phazer, fuuuunn!!! I just have a 30 hp shot on mine, but it makes it a lot more versatile. Let me know if you have any questions. :nos yes I do.
If it is paid for keep it. I have one ride on mine this year. Snow sucks this year. I look at it this way... It won't get wore out sitting in my shop. That and they aren't worth anything to sell right now. You would take it in the shorts and kick yourself later.
Honestly there is no need to really re-clutch it for the Nitrous. I talked to plenty of guys when I did it and they all said leave it alone. To the best of my knowledge, noone is really making a "clutch kit" for the MTX anyway.
What did you ever find out with the single? Was it an improvement over stock? Do you feel there were thegains in HP that were indicatedin the start of this post? :nos :nos :nos
I looked into it a few years ago and last year decided to put the X-Clickers on it. The springs were a couple hundred bucks. I am happy with the X-clickers. I can still find the bottom on it, but it takes a bunch, and I am not skinny. 235lbs
I jut called Oxarc, my welding supplier. Brad said that within the last year Lincoln has made a kit that can be installed into the Sp's that allow you to run a 1lb spool gun. The kit installed costs between $50-$100 and the 1lb spool gun cots about $225. Go to your local welding supply store...
TIG can be reall pretty, but a good spool gun is way faster and just as good. It is essentially a hand held wirefeed gun that is powered off of you MIG welder. Run pure Argon as your shielding gas and be sure to use the proper alloy of wire for the material you are using. Also take the time to...
I teach metal shop, Depending on what alloy of aluminum you choose, there is no reason you can't make one. I love it when students want to attempt to do something like this. Over the years I have made many aluminum skid plates for peoples sleds. Contrary to what Zack says, aluminum usually...
Cannondale had a geeat post with pictures and all on last year or the year before. Essentially you need to remove the airbox and it is right there. Use a set of Channel Locks to get it loose, watch out for the oil pressure sending unit. I unplug it. Use a K&N replacement filter, they have a...
Ride it like a quad, standing up. I have no complaints when it is on the trail once you get used to it. It does not ride at all like an old school sled. My wife hates riding mine, but it is set up to run in deep snow not the trail, no ski pressure.
I can't get the pictures I have to load here. e-mail me and I can send you the pictures for the holtzman kit. it it pretty much centered in the airbox pointing at the intake boots. I think as long as you center it up on the boots so each side is getting the same amount you will be fine. oh...
