Im in the process of installing a sed of better boards at the moment. Pain in the #*$&@ to cut the old running board when your not properly equipped. Had to pay around 30$ cdn of duty at reception.
I also got myself a set and for the price they works pretty well. I also machined myself a few sets of plastic pieces that I place under the other end of the spring for an extra inch or so of extra preload, where it connects with the rails. Made more than needed was worried they could fall off...
Are the grommet on the plastic shaft on the piece you removed or are they still in in the hole on the sled? Cuz if they are on the piece you removed you need to take em off and place em back in the holes before you try to put it back in or you never gonna be able to reassemble it back.
It was my third weekend riding my PhazerMTX, my first one with enough powder to do some carving, and I flipped it a few times. This thing is a bitch to flip back up when your up to your knees in powder. Mine didnt stay on its side for 30 mins tho but I did get the oil light on wich went away...
I just ordered a pair of those x-licks but I have a question....how do you get to install them? That spring is all loaded up and im sure there is an easy and safe way to install those.
I had reservations about that method thats why I asked. Im gonna go with under the sled, behind the A-arm, and thru the suspension. Btw Im the one who asked the question about phazer length and im anxious to try that trap door. Thx for the input
I just built a garage with a second floor to store the sled and was wondering if I can lift the phazer mtx from the front and rear bumber? Anyone done it differently?
Im looking for a new bumper for my phazer, want to add some extra protection, and so far there is the yamaha one and skinz also makes one. Anyone else does?
Sorry for the out of topic reply but im also gonna store my sled (Phazer MTX0 on the second floor of the garage and was wondering where do you pass your straps in order to hoist the sled? I was thinking about one behind the A-arm and another one thru the track, or maybe under the track. Just...
Come on guys there must be one guy who is a proud owner of a phazer MTX and a measuring tape.... Counstruction is soon and id like a more precise measure than measuring a screenshot with a caliper....
I just bought a phazer Mtx 09 and I want to be able to store it on the second story in my garage. I want to cut an opening in the ceiling to hoist the sled to the second floor during summer. I know the Phazer Mtx is 126 inches (10.5 feet) but if I remove the skis how shorter does it gets. Id be...
Thx alot redbull thats the kind of info Im looking for, did you install it yourself? Do dealers usually charge for installation when you buy accessories with a new sled?
Thx for the info guys. About the hands warmers you guys are right they are there, my bad on that one. Im gonna look for new skis for sure, but im still debating about the ultra plate vs flotation skid plate. I really hope someone with the flotation one can come and give some live input on that...
