Would it be safe and not effect the snowmobile if I made the exhaust into a 90 so I could use the back of the sled for storage. I ice fish and could use that area but I am worried about heat and sled performance.

Surprised to see how poorly matched the exhaust ports are to the header. Is there any concern about opening up the entry of the header and removing some of the tube edges so they match better with the exhaust gasket. Thoughts?
