03 to 05 rx-1 - Are the front shocks the same?

I want to upgrade my 03 rx-1 front springs to an 05. Is that adviseable or should I just get the straight rate springs from Pioneer Perforance? Or get the 2 shocks with springs from the 05? Thanks in advance!!

they are the same just came with different springs

The 03 had progressive springs so soft initially then firm, the 04-05 had straight rate springs but the overal rate was fairly soft. The shocks were all the same if I remember right.

I would get straight rate springs from pioneer in the rate he reccomends for your riding style. ALso ger a 13mm sway bar upgrade and longer links for it, it will rail and still ride nice.
