2004 rx warrior with 6474 miles. I just got it up and running for the first time this year, everything seems good, except I noticed my mph is not working. I know it worked last spring when I put the sled in storage. Everything else on the cluster works just not the speed. Does anyone have any help to send my way? Thanks

Remove the left side panel and the belt guard, then check that the driveshaft is centered in the bearing. If you're unlucky, the bearing has had a catastrophic failure and the driveshaft has chewed through your speed pickup sensor.

O.k. , just took side panel off to check the bearing and such, only to jog my memory that I did this last spring before storage. Here I found, nobody's fault but my own, that I forgot to put the sensor gear and bolt back on. I sure got lucky in that my 4 mile test drive these two pieces stayed laying in the belly pan, put them back on and gee it works again. Sorry, and also thanks for the reply!

I rode off yesterday for a quick blast with the funnel (white) on the back of the sled. Never saw it again as I have no idea where it fell off. I crawled through the neighborhood (1/2 a block) till the enterance to the trail then gunned it. Looked in the usual places, but it's got great cammo. ;-P
