05 mono update?

heard through the grape vine that there is an update for the ra adjuster on the 05 monoshocks where ice build up breaks the cable? wondering if this is true? or is it something that was fixed for the 06s and people are just buying the 06 part? any help would be appreciated.

I know that there was one. I had mine fixed last season.

i believe they just put in a diffenert boot and/or a deflector above the cable. i didn't visually notice a difference on mine after they supposedly did the update so i'll say it isn't much, though i did n't check anythig out until a month or two later when i pulled the suspension to to grease and inspect it
