hey guys
We finally have our first snowfall and had the sled out for a rip. I got a mid to high end bog. Absolutely no quick throttle response. I can probably get the sled up to 90-95 km with a very deep bog sound. She don't per like a kitten at all lol the sled runs fine at idle. Easy to start. I had picked this sled up in the spring with this same issue. Sled had turbo removed and the job wasn't finished. I removed head shim replaced with new own head gasket. Stock clutching, jets in carbs are back to stock, carb is cleaned. Do anyone know what this sound be? I also changed the cam tensioner and did the timing . I unplugged the coils as it were running that's not the problem. Any suggestions on what to try next? Thanks

Since it had been turboed I would do a compression check to make sure it's not something wrong deep down inside the engine.

Compression is between 200-205 across the board . I found a huge hole cut in the air box! Maybe that's what's causing my trouble

Patch it up and try it out. That's going to make it run lean.

I do not think that air box mod is the issue.

It can't hurt to try it. When they put pod filters on the rx1 they had to increase the jet size to 165 to get rid of the lean problems.
