this is the 2nd time this has happened to me while out rideing.
1st time my a$$ was gettin warm as we where rideing 50kph in a trail a snake would be proud of. i just figured it was the trail as there where no spots to open it up to move some air through it.
2nd time was this past weekend. we where on old logging roads in fresh powder barely even ridden yet. averageing 70-100kph. my seat was getting hot so my a$$ was sweating. everyone else on the 2 smokes was getting wet from the powderd snow we where rideing in. put my knee on the seat for awhile to cool my butt off and my knee gets hot as well. you can feel the heat when you stop and take your mitts/gloves off and touch the outside of my leather pants.
now i know sasquatch has melted the seat on his but i am nowhere near his size (as judged by his moose avatar pic). i am 5'6" and weight 230lbs and have short legs so i stay near the front of the seat.
is anyone else haveing this problem? thinking about reflective tape on bottom of seat for next season or header wraping the pipes so the heat stays in there instead.
all ideas would be appreciated.
sled is all stock other than the cosmetic mods in avatar pic.
thanks maim
