Sled is an 05 Vector ER with 8000 miles. Stator and battery replaced last season. Sled has NEVER done this before.....

I ran the sled yesterday and this AM without any issues. Right after lunch I started up the sled and it started and ran just fine. BUT...the gauge didn't work, I had no headlites, taillites.....nothing.

So while the sled was running I started to pull fuses to see of any were blown that might cause this problem. When I pulled the ignition fuse the sled quit (I expected this) and I put it back in. I checked all the other fuses and all were OK.

I then restarted the sled and EVERYTHING WORKED. I went out and busted powder for 30 minutes without any problems.

My guess is a connection is corroded/rusted/etc. and needs cleaning, but why did pulling fuses remedy the problem?

Any thoughts out there?

Don't know much about your sled, but with electronics in general, relays and corroded connections cause most intermittent problems. Ground connection(s) are also another source of pain.
