06 Apex RTX or 08 Phaxer RTX? Which to purchase?

From what you describe I would go with the phazer. You said you like to go off trail, the lighter phazer is gunna be better at that. You said you have moguls and tight trails, definately the phazer would be better there.... The apex is alot faster but I think the phazer would be better for you

I wouldn't consider a phazer because I like to run lakes and long groomed trails but for you, I think the phazer would be the better fit..

Depends if going over 75mph is important to you or not. The Phazer is more of a quick 0-50mph, big bump, FUN bash around sled. The Apex is more of a go fast, reasonable bump, trail cruiser type sled. OFF trail I'd take the shorty Phazer over a shorty Apex. Also, what are the left over 09's selling for out there. I picked up my 09' Phazer MTX for 5600$ with 4 year warranty with it NEW out of the crate, same dealer had an 09' Phazer RTX for 6100$ at that time.

Yeah, I think that phazer may be more suited. I know I could probably find a better deal but this is from a dealer we use often and I normally beat him up pretty good on prices. He's selling them on consignment and he held two sleds for us (I probably told him that pre-maturely) and now my friend backed out so I feel I owe him to at least buy one of them. The other phazers in my area, by the time I called on them were gone so I got nervous and didn't want to miss too much of the season. Although there currently is an 09 in the same area for similar price but again, I don't want to make an enemy of the owner who has done us many favors in the past. Thanks for all the info.

EDIT: Actually I had written down the info wrong, it is an 09, so even better. I pick it up Friday! Woo Hoo! Tough call on which one to get and maybe my friend will get the Apex and we have the best of both worlds!
