Sold my 06 bars when I received the 07 replacement. Obviously a mistake now. Anyone know the price of the 06 bars and what the availability is from yamaha.

Do what I did. Ask your dealer to sell you a pair off take-offs if he can. I am sure he has some lying around. I got a set for $20.00. MINT ! And man are they HOT, 2 bars MAX and at 9000RPM, I am roasting my hands.

People kept their 06 bars when they received the 07's. Why would the dealer have any 06 bars?

Some people just brought the sleds to the dealer to get the 07 update and never looked back. Thats how I got mine. Worth a call don't you think?
I had an accident when I first got my 07 RTX which resulted in bent bars, I got a set of 06's for nothing because the guy who had them was getting his replaced by 07's and didn't want to keep his 06's. Now I don't even have my handguards on, and I'm not sure if I'm going to put them on cause the bars are so hot.
That and the fact that the 06 bars I got are from a Apex Mountain with the mountain bar so it is more work then I care to do to put them back on just for the look.
