Got it started after summer storage went for a 20 minute ride a few days ago and it worked perfectly so i tried to start it today and it sounded like garbage and cut out and now all it does is turn over and make small offers but it wont start. I have all new plugs, spark is all good, all fuses are good and it has a full tank of fresh gas please help

When did you put in the fresh plugs? Before the 20 min ride or after the no start condition?

before even before the first start of the year

Mr sled is right ! Time to clean the carb's and if you have been cranking on it you might as well change the plugs again. You might have to have them Synchronized so all them Carb's run the same.

I cleaned the carbs put the old plugs back in and it fired right up what a waste of money those new plugs were! so now on to my next problem should i repair my cracked oil tank or just replace it?

Carbs need to be synched as DGZRT suggests. IMO - should have just replaced the pilots...cheaper to replace than "hope" those little SOB's are clean! :)

Replace the tank with a used one. Contact Travis at: barnofparts.com He also sells a kit that will prevent further issues with the tank.

4strokeluvr111 hit the nail on the head! contact Travis and when you install the new one do a search on cracked oil tanks , I believe you can add a rubber washer to the mounts and this will take up some of that vibration.

well you can still keep the plugs as spares so its not exactly a waste, and as for the oil tank, how bad is it cracked and where? providing its not too big you can repair it for a fraction of replacing it but thats your call

I know other guys have had luck repairing them with jbweld, but for $200 you can have an extremely high quality welded aluminum tank that will absolutely never leak. I just didn't trust the oem tank, even if I repaired it, there was a chance that paper thin metal was going to spring another leak. Murphy's law would state that would happen out in the middle of no where.

(no, I have no relation to that seller and it isn't mine, but I did buy one of those last year and am very impressed with it.)

Newest problem oil tank is all fixed up no leaks at all with engine off but as soon as i start it up oil starts pouring out from under and I cant find where its coming from any ideas? maybe cracked base pan or loose bolt?

Is one of the vents plugged... is it pushing the oil back into the air box.

I had an oil leak and I had to order oil leak tracer kit. Mine was leaking at the pressure sensor just had to tape the thread and tighten. If its a little bit of oil... those can be a bitch...

no oil is pissing out from under the engine some where I have that small plate taken off the bottom and tightened a few bolts that i could but it is coming from somewhere that i cant see
