06 Nytro won't start!!!!

I cant see what you can... pull the air box and battery cage and start looking... maybe a split oil line off the bottom of the motor that feeds the oil tank... if its pissing that much oil it should be easy to locate. Use brake clean to clean the mess if its all over...

100% sure you hooked up all the hoses going to the air box? If you miss that little one on the bottom, your engine will puke out A LOT of oil, enough to empty the tank in 10 minutes or so...

Its pretty dark outside now but im going for a look anyways ill be right back with more info

Make sure that the infamous "small hose" is connected on BOTH ends. Underneath the airbox, RH rear corner (as you are sitting on the sled). Make triple sure that that hose is also connected to the fitting on the block.

As Mr Sled pointed out, the lower oil tank line that goes to the engine could have split but I can't recall ever hearing about that happening.

Oil filter split?

Where is the actual oil pump on these engines?

hose under air box was not connected hahaha i feel stupid and no matter how many times i try to put it back on when i try to fit the air box back onto the carbs which it a complete bitch of a job the hose falls off again the hose is just way to short!

Relax. Look where the hose goes down along the block and attaches to a nipple. Use a long needle nose to open the clip as well as removing the hose. From the top pull up on the hose until you have enough to easily attach it to the airbox. Then, take your needle nose and attach the hose to the block nipple. Don't forget the clip.

This does involve taking off the side panel but it makes the job so much easier.

ok thanks for all the help! one more question do you think it will hurt if I put in royal purple 5w20 or castrol 10w30 in thats all I have on hand which would be the better choice? I would like to fire it up and see if that was the problem for sure
