I was cleaning up my sled and greasing the suspension and noticed I'm missing my 2 inner guide wheels. I hadn't been riding much the last couple of years as I have been out sailing iceboats. I had loaned my sled out a few times and hadn't noticed the damage until now.

So, the question is, what is the current thinking on replacements? And, should I be replacing most or all of the wheels? I had a lot of problems on my 05 RX1, but those were plastic.

Recommendations?

the originals that came on that sled suck they wear out fast and come off just replace with the spoked oem replacements with replacable berrings and you will be fine very common on that sled may as well do all the small ones they will all fail eventualy.

I replaced all of my wheels with Yamaha aftermarket spoked wheels. The aftermarket wheels have replaceable bearings and seem to be of better quality overall compared to the originals.

Can get aftermarket ones fom Dennis Kirk and don't have to guess on what the sizes are. Replaceable berings are key.

I found some Kimpex Pro wheels with replaceable bearings 2 years ago that I put on the 05 Rx1 before I sold it. I thought they seemed like they were decent quality, and they were only 12 bucks each with bearings. I'm sure they were junk chinese bearings but they were replaceable. That's all I cared about.
