Has anyone had any luck polishing the colored plastics on a phazer to make them shine again ? I have tried a few things with no luck. They seem to stay dull of get worst. Let me know what might work, I've tried buffing it with a few different compounds and polishes , by hand and with a small buffer
Paint them! It looks awesome even years later when scratched. Sure miss painted sleds from factory!
Its just lower sidepanels painted on mine but will someday do rest. These were originally on Jimmy Blazes Phazer way back in 08. Look him up. He used to do backflips on the sled! I hit a few trees and all kinds of rollovers but even scratched they look way better than factory plastic in my opinion. Go for it but get it done professionally. Lots of sanding and prep work I would imagine.

I was able to put a gloss back on our phazer plastics by cleaning, buffing, and then using a torch to heat them up. The torch puts a fresh gloss on them and reseals them. Just take it slow. They matched the new replacement panels perfectly.
