I have an 08 apex gt ltx, and I need to stud it. I am wondering from experts the best number of studs and length for this sled. Set up for semi-aggressive trail riding. I want to stud it down the center band only and also if it needs any protectors. Thanks in advance.

Not sure on the number for the LTX but I use 192 Woodys 1.450 in mine and it hooks like a bear.

I would start out with 108 down the middle and go from there. I also went with 1.325 woody's. Manufactures aren't uniform on how they measure their stud length so it can get confusing when talking lengths........

1.325 studs don't hook good, if you got the ripsaw go with the 1.450 studs

I ran 136 down the middle for 5000 plus miles and it worked pretty good. Then I put on a cobra and 162 down the middle and it is awesome out of the hole and pulls graet down low. When it had the ripsaw I would get some racheting out of the hole have to run the track tight to keep it from happening. I also put in 1.450 mega bite studs, should have stayed with 1.350. They hit the pipe protector a little bit.
Hope this helps.

No I did not add anything to the tunnel protecters. If you add anything to the protecters with the cobra it will rub alot and slow you down.
