Hey guys! I am wondering if anyone else has seen this problem with nytro y-pipes breaking off, It just happened to me the other day I'm using a mbrp exhaust and I just replaced the gaskets at 2000 miles and there's 3500 on it now. I'm thinking I can just weld it?

It can easily be welded. That would be cheapest option. I have used headers here if you can't get it repaired.

Had that happen to my MP. Had it welded and braced. Check for my thread in the Venture Lite/Multipurpose section.

Having it welded is the most cost effective way to solve this. Soon as you think about putting another exhaust system - hindle, mbrp - a whole list of other things will have to be adjusted as well and the costs go through the roof. This isn't a bad thing, if you want increased hp. In a flash I was looking at spending $2k for an upgraded exhaust, power commander etc. Not worth it on a 7yr sled that is only worth $5k anyway.

They all break sooner or later. Aftermarket and stock. Just get it welded.

Thank you all for your replies its greatly appreciated. I went ahead and just welded it and gusseted it in some spots, my mounting bracket broke which cause it to break off the tail end of the exhaust and took out my middle accordion, fortunately we had a couple of accordions in stock at work so I got it all welded up, fixed up and now I'm all ready to roll!
