Just wanted to update all 08 FX Nytro owners that their is now a deflector plate available from Yamaha to help reduce the amount of moisture that makes it into the left footwell area. The 2009 FX Nytro models have a deflector plate installed below the drive clutches to reduce the amount of moisture in the footwell. The 2009 deflector plate (8GL-2197B-00-00) can easily be installed on any 2008 FX Nytro model using two existing 8mm bolts. The deflector plate retails for $27.04 and we will be selling them for $22.70 for TY members. Feel free to enter the part number on our online fiche program below or give me a call if you need one. Thanks

When can we expect to see the compete 2009 fiche??

I don't have an exact timeframe as to when the 09 fiche will be up on our site but I will try to make a post in our vendor section when it becomes availble. I you need pricing or have questions on any of the 09 parts feel free to give me a call as I have access to the 09 fiche at the shop. Thanks

Thank You!

Dropped my sled off today for a few goodies, found out this deflection plate is covered by warranty, dealer should have a memo on it.

Covered by warranty?? More info on this, please....

There is not much info. I order one and when I drop of the sled was told warranty would cover it. The dealer had a service notice stating that if a customer comes in complaining about their left foot getting wet to install the deflection plate under warranty. Plate changes the air flow under the secondary so hopefully foot stays dry.

I picked one up, but was wondering how to install it. Anyone able to take a picture of one already installed?
