I want one. I think this sled will change alot of things for the yamaha mtn segment. Cant wait to get one out and try it. :yam:

What do you think it will weigh ???

I'm hoping for less than 600 pounds fully wet!

I waited a year to get a new sled because I had a feeling Yamaha was going to do some like this. I was going to get a Phazer MTN till now.

This sled "IF" it is under or close to 600lbs. wet will be my next ride. Who am I kidding I'd buy it anyway :-o

look at yamahas web site, under rough trail, click on the video part, than click on the max sled video, the weight of a nytro wet is 576lbs.

Went to go view the sled tonight. Can you saw SWEEEETTT... I will have to pass as dumping over $10k into a new sled and another $8k for turbo is a little out of my price range. I think I will get a used RX1 Turbo for $10k

good lord, $8K for a turbo. Hey I got some ocean front property to sell you in Utah

I'd say more like around $4-5K

anyway I saw a article that said

There’s no turbo on this engine, but the go-fast types will be interested to note that there’s an outer bearing on the lower gear for an aftermarket turbo addition.

That would be cool if Yamaha would make a factory unit for this sled, you never know

I think an mc x kit will be over $6k. Turbo Install at least $500. 162 track at east $500. New drop brackets so a 16 will fit $100. Guages a few hundred more. Rail extention $100. It all adds up

ok that makes more sence, so you ment to say $8k for all the mods you would want not just a turbo kit.

Either way I think this will be my next sled.

You got to pay to play :bling

My hobbies aren't getting cheaper :o|

I just wish i hadn't spent all the $$$ this year on my vector

Yeah I feel ya, I sold my sled over a year ago and was going to buy a Phazer this year, but something in my gut told me to wait and save the money for the "next" year models. It sucks more because we have had a great winter here, 159" of snow where I normally go. Which means all my friends will be riding till mid-end April :o|

I do agree with you that the MSRP should be around the $8K mark not $10k+

cheers
