Have you checked you ski alignment? Sometimes a darting problem is as simple as that....although it's never the simple solution
Good luck!
Good luck!
wow, I got my head spinning from all the suggestions, when I bought it I thought I just ride it, turns out I spend more time on the net and the garage. To be honest I am confused about the strap, should I do it? and also about the shimming of the ski (reverse) I guess one step at a time. Lastly the sway bar (this is a total newbie question) where is it and how do I remove it, or even should I??/

Sway bar has nothing to do with darting. It reduces body roll and ski lift during hard cornering. It links the front a-arms through the bulkhead. not related to your problem. I'd leave it for later if it becomes an issue.
Dartless will solve your darting, works great on Nitro and Phaser.

Ok, I had a stock 08 Nytro with Fox floats. I hated the ride of those things with the twitchy front end. I sold them on ebay and bough the GYT dual clickers. I added the C&A's with 6" of carbide, pulled down the limiter strap, adjusted my toe out, and softened up my rear shock a bit. All of this made it corner like an animal, and handle most bumps. It is different riding style to the Apex or vector, but once you learn how to set it up so it doesn't jump around and can corner it will be great. Do some research on here. Some compared the ride of the 08 once settled, to a good early date, and an 09 or 10 to a married person LOL
After looking at all suggestions, I did the following, I have the floats at 67, shorten limited front strap one hole, and changed to double carbide arrow ski.
The difference is amazing, I finally enjoyed the ride, actually I loved it. Again, I cant understand why Yamaha puts out such a great sled with such horrible ski.
