Have a couple questions about them I just want to know if they are reliable and if they really are that much better on gas then 2 strokes and all that ! I have one lined up but i just want some extra opinions . Anything you have to say tell me
:yam:

Thanks Peter !

There great on gas. All the smokers I ride with are at the pump way before me. Plus, the Phazer tank is like 8 gals and they all have 12&13 gal tanks.

My phazers have been great on gas!! I own 4 2007 phazer GT's, all with about 800 miles on them now, all getting about 18mpg. I am told that will increase as the engine continues to fully break in. I have heard reports of guys getting up to 25mpg. Either way, not even the best 2-smokes can come close to that!

The 08's have a smaller tank, I think 7 gallons instead of 8.

I have an 07 Phazer FX (which would be equivalent to the RTX) and I love it. It gets great gas millage, and all of yamahas sleds are very reliable and i have no doubts with this one. I have about 1000 miles on mine and had no problems.

the 08s have the radiator fan stock, the billet shock link, updated center wheels, and the steering fiexed. also i think different torsion springs but not sure on that.

anyone know how hard it is to mount fat bars on these .. can you do it with the stock riser or do you need the fat bar adapters ? Do you need to extend any of the cables if you do this . ( not any extra rise just freestyle bars put on ) ?????

Thanks Peter !

You will need some sort of adapter. The fatbar has a bigger diameter then the stock bars.

o so the stock bars are 7/8 so i will need the fat bar adapter 1 1/8 ???
and do you think all the cables will fit it shouldn't be to much more of a rise ??

Thanks Peter !

I have stock bars on mine so i dont know about the cable extensions. But i have seen many Phazers with fatbars that are much higher than the stock bars.

alright thanks man ... might just leave them stock and relocate the gauge pod like what ZOOK has done on his underneath his bars, above his tank . And zook how hard was this and if you dont mind could you send me some pics of how you did it if you have any, and anyone else for that matter Thanks would appreciate it ! :rocks:

Thanks Peter !
