Oh nice my buddy lives in rome over there...should pm me next time you riding over in rapids. Could swing by and ride with you, my sled is in tomah.

Have you adjusted your toe? Needs to be toed out, i would say 1/2. That should calm down the twichy feeling and control the darting. Also with the dual runners you will get push, its just the way it is with dual runners. I run about 60lbs in my floats too

i did toe it out. i'll try going up on the floats. i guess i didnt go that way because i didnt want inside ski lift. are my skid settings close to yours?

btw... i'm from appleton.

Yeah try going up on the floats, put your nuts on the tank and lean a lot! My front strap is all the way loose but I like it like that. Had it in the second hole but wasn't a fan of it. Front shock is about the me. My clicker settings were set up by pioneer when I got mine rebuilt so I'll need to see how they work were there at. But last year I went off a setting in the nytro faq and tuned from there. My torsion springs are on soft too, with hygear spacers.

I live in Darby but I travel all over the state for work.

haha... after we got married my wife and i lived in darboy before we moved to mosinee in 2006.

thanks for the info. my son and i went out in the field next to our house today and played with the front shocks a bunch. went all the way down to 40 and then up to 65 and stopped there with noticeable improvement. it still didnt rotate the rear end, but i felt confidant about where the front was going to go. will have to fine tune more next time we ride on groomed trails.

To get the rear to rotate your probably gonna have to get a predator track or the new ripsaw 2. I have the same issue with trying to get the rear to rotate or slightly slide through the corner. Your new dual keel skis are gonna push more depending on snow conditions than a single keel also. I would suggest you get a oft relocator which gets you up closer to the front and changes the weight balance which amazingly helps alot! Im sorry if i offended your wallet but this baby likes cash for it to do what you want it to do!

i have seriously considered the re-locator. it's at the top of my wants list. the track change also crossed my mind, but you're right... expensive. don't know if i can swing that anytime soon.

What sled did you ride before the nytro? The "rotation" you talking about should be no problem with the stock track. Just need to get used to it and use plenty of the loud pedal ;)!

ya, i need more time on it to figure out the quirks. my last sled was a polaris fst with m10. it didn't really suit my riding style well, but it had a long seat so i could ride double with my son. now he's 12 so i got him and 01 sxr. i also have an 02 xc 700 that i bought new and now my wife drives. right now the sxr and xc "rotate" better. I'm sure i'll get the nytro figured out.

I had 08 rtx and loved to hate it . But that being said after sometime had the sled railing . Ran the air at 60/70 start by putting the front strap 3rd hole. Tight the coil two and a half to three inch of thread showing. I would put the clickers middle setting use for fine tuning. Put your ski rubber backwards with a 1/4 inch under the back . I had aset of curve skis and to me they are the best the fast you go the better they turn .When i had the sled setup i could run with my buddies apex all day . Remember this is not a sit and drive sled make small adjustments . The key to the sled is one thing at a time get a base setup. I have a 2010 rtx se that i picked up with a 1000 miles and the curves are on already . Good luck

Yeah more seat time and you'll be fine, totally different sled then the older sled as you already know. Read the site and the help with set ups is pretty much endless......
