so before i comit to a deal with a 08 nytro i have a question... besides the weak subframe and ball joints i hear they have tracking problems. Will diffrent a arms fix this?

if u have a loose front end and its not aligned properly maybee but if u keep things tight and aligned proplerly it tracks fine. When it gets bumpy then u get some bump steer

i have the 08 and i love it.... just used all the info on this site and set it up pretty good...

I'm a ditch banger I ride trails aggressively, powder when we get it, hill climbs, mx track occasionally, jumps pretty much anything we can get our sled on locally we do... I have a lot of ideas tho timbersled skid, zbroz a arms, mtx skis, 136" track, plus more and don't worry I will have a build thread but I was just wondering what was causing the tracking problems...
My dealer told me this weekend when I picked up my 2011 phazer from servicing( currently for sale) to stay away from 08's due to tracking, bearings, and weak subframes. But I'm lookin and I can find em cheap with low miles so why not? And plus I'm pretty much changing the whole sled so it may not have problems any more.

I have an '08 rtx. Running project x skis and no handling/darting issues. Have a set of ball joints cut to '09 spec but haven't even tried them yet.

I just finished adding all the needed gussets to strengthen a 08 subframe for a guy near Rochester, NY. Cheap fix and now it's stronger than any of the new subframes. I wouldn't be concerned about buying a 2008 Nytro if you can get it at the right price. There really hasn't been any significant improvements since 08 . My 08 RTX handles better than any of the newer Nytro that I've ridden. It just took time and money to make it perform.
