Is there an easy way to tell the difference between an 08 to 09 subframe? Also can 08 arms mount up to an 09 subframe?

Should be a circle brace on the 09s in between where the a arms mount, not sure what other braces they put on then in 09. The newest ones have a ton more bracing then the 08s. Yes I mounted my a arms to the newest frame that is available, so a 09 is really not available any longer. Its been updated.

There are sheet metal plates under the '09 subframe while the '08 doesn't have any.

That is correct. Look in between where the arms mount.

The big round hole in the plate means you have a 09 or newer frame.
Here is a pic of how it should look;

The 08 frame does not have the plate with the hole in it. Its nothing between the tubes on the 08 frame.

Has anyone straighten a bent 09 frame then added support gussets to it? Bent mine and not sure if going to go though insurance or fix mine. Bent pretty good can not get it back with a bar would mean hooking sled between truck and hydro pull and using a come a long?
