This sled is going to be for my wife. It has just under 500 miles and is tight. My wife wants an nytro rtx or xtx like i have but i dont think it will fit her style of riding. Just looking for some input from ltx owners as to how well it rides in the BUMPS. My local trails are grim sometimes but we also ride on real nice wide trails. She is on a 04 viper now. I think she can handle a heavy sled but dont want something that bottoms out all the time. I think shes about 150 with gear and will ride hard sometimes. I did have an apex er short track and she liked the way it rode (i did not) it was a mono shock short track.

I ride an 07 Attak GT, that sled Is same, just 1 year newer. Mine rode like a cushy cadillac stock. I loved it and it was comfy, but really soft, like a big old Caddy. I imagine hers would ride similarly. Shed may even just love it!

I actually tweaked my rear Ohlins shock with a better valve stack and a few other goodies, so I'm completely satisfied now. If it's too cushy, that's all she has to do.

That's a great sled. Not many 08's to be found with only 500 miles in them!

X2 maybe a better set of ski, but other then that its a very nice sled.

I have a 08 LTX Gt and my wife did not want to ride it at all until her 08 sx was running bad and i made her ride mine what a mistake i mad now when she comes with me guess what she is riding the apex and i'm riding the sx so go for x2 on the after market ski's

My wife put 1500 mile on last winter on our 2 apex's... after about the 6 hr mark the weight really was getting to her, so we bought a phazer... she loves the apex's but after a long day she is sore... way more than me. she has about 250 miles late last winter on her new one and she likes it alot better(weight wise..not power)... but still asks if she will be able to take one of the bigger ones...

2011 With power steering will solve it. She will never get off that thing. LOL

My mom rides a short track Apex and does relatively well- she gets sore, but has some knee and shoulder trouble to begin with. One note would be that she noticeably has to work harder and gets tired faster when riding either mine of my dad's attak.

The dealer would not come down to the "right" price. Dont hate me but i bought her a 2011 tnt 600 all black. I can pick up the rear with two fingers lol. Not much to the sled i think i would wreck it in 800 miles or less. But for her its about how well the sled rides not how well its built. I plan on keeping it for two to three seasons then replace it with a new one.
I really wanted that apex ltx though.

Congrats! She is going to love it. Who knows maybe you will too! I wish I had a Yami and Doo ride too, lol

I went and got it today. I had all the plastic replaced with black and no decals. These sleds are like belly buttons everyone seems to have one. I dont like to run with the main stream so to speak. I went with the non etec due to higher oil and fuel consumption. I know that sounds odd but i know more oil and fuel going through the engine cant be a bad thing. I hope it works out.
