The more spring pressure on the center shock, the more ski pressure on the front end.(heavy steering)
I run mine just a few(2-3) turns past touching, plus I've gone to a hygear dual rate spring on the center shock and like the results. Like number1kyster, I also felt the pilots were a huge improvement over stock using a 6"center and 4" outer carbide. the 4 " only touches when cornering and helps the longevity of the ski. With the front end weight of the apex, I feel this ski works better on the apex than it does on a Skidoo.
