I'm planning on upgrading my nitrous track from a 1in to a 1.5 or 1.75. Ibwas told that I would have to remove the two bars that run up from my rad to the snowflap. I was also told that all they are there for is protection from studs and I don't use a studded track and never will. I was wondering if the rad actually had the rad fluid running through the fins. I no it sounds stupid but I herd that it doesn't?

no the tunnel protectors are there just to protect your exhaust from getting rubbed from the track, there is no fluid running thru them.

Be careful when cutting off the cooler protectors. If you cut too deep green fluid will be coming out..
Take your time with a dremel and a good cutting wheel and you will be fine.
Don't forget to use safety glasses in there...
Good luck
