Hi guys, I have a 09 Nytro xtx and its throwing code 84 and will not idle. the idle revs up and down and than will just die. Ive tested throttle switch, its good..ive tested the throttle position sensor. tested good, tested the angle and its just shy of being in spec. it reads 62.5..minimum is 63..could that possibly be the issue? Im ready to take a match to this thing lol this is my first fourstroke and maybe my last? lol any help would be appreciated!!!!!! thanks

At the top of this forum is the FAQ section for this sled. Codes are listed in the sub header. Your code is for the TORS system. Adjust the throttle cable until you have the correct slack in the throttle and it will usually cure this. If not, it may be a bad upper or lower TORS switch., or even a bad speed sensor . When the clutch side driveshaft bearing went out in my Apex it damaged the speed sensor and it threw a TORS code. Best of luck with your repair!
