Yamaha will not have to re-tool for the '09 model year. I'll bet they produce very few sleds next year. Every dealer in my area is stuck with almost a years supply of leftover '07 and '08 sleds. They won't be buying too many '09's except for "demo" units because they get an extra discount. You can buy a leftover '07 and throw a turbo on it for slightly more than a new '09.
You do realize that they sell sleds in other states and countries? I know here in the Mid-west they have had the best year for ending inventories in years. 1 dealer here has no 08's left 1 has 1 ltx and a pretty large dealer about 30 miles from me has 5 total units left.
