I had to replace my ripsaw last year at 480 mi. I purchased another ripsaw and after reading some posts here I used a roto zip to cut out the closed windows in the track. I really believe that eliminated or substantially reduced the noise issue. I did this to reduce hyfax wear.
Anybody else notice this effect???

I bought a Camo 9818 1.25 for my SRX. I heard many negative things about the Ripsaw. Turk also told me it is a much better track in loose snow than the ripsaw.
