1 3/4" Track 144" ANYBODY LIKE????

Totally agree with the must have. I just purchased a 1.75" Backcountry for my XTX. Was out with an M8 last weekend and got smashed cause the 1.25" Shitsaw just doesn't cut it in the deep. I hope this track w/ drivers also helps in keeping the front end up in the powder. I feed the Nytro dives very hard in the deep stuff. I hope the purchase of Simmon's Gen II's will prevent the front end from tanking in the deep.
I am looking to turn my XTX into a Backcountry type sled. I hope these two upgrades get me there. What do you guys think???

I love my BackCountry, thought I do miss having studs. I love the wheelies you can pull in the powder and the corner to corner holeshots.

What do i need to change to run that track?

you need extros and remove the tunnel protectors

575 USD from TracksUSA. 1.75" Backcountry and tunnell / rail extensions. Looks good! Just did a stretch on my 08 RTX.

I don't run extros, but both tunnell and cooler protectors had to come out.

with an agressive track like that i cant see the stock drivers lqsting or being and good, anything bigger than whats on the sled stock should have extros.

I'm on my second season now with a 1.75" Backcountry and stock drivers with no issues. Rode everything from ditches, trail, off trail in the Yooper as well as the mountains of Wyoming.

Got the sled from delivery with this track so would have no idea how the 1.25" even worked.

Would highly recomend both this track and skis as an automatic update on the XTX ;)!

There is a few things that you can do to the XTX to make it a different sled. If you do the track and skis your 90% of the way there. You should consider puting a riser on it and getting your body weight back. Some suspension setting and your skis will never touch the snow. This is not a trail sled set up this way but Yamaha kind of targeted these sleds towards the trail guys the way the come from the factory. You will not believe the difference. I got to ride all three other brands last year and I'm by no means biased to Yamaha. This is without a doubt the funnest sled I have ever been on:)

I would go for the BackCountry. That was the first thing I changed on my XTX. I can't believe that the stock track would hook up like the BackCountry while off trail. I have no problems lifting and holding the skis in the air while in knee deep powder. I have the transfer set near the middle.
