Went from a 144" ripsaw to a crossover track by camoplast. The conditions I usually favour is trail, loose trail, and moderate depth snow. Everything sounds and feels the same at top end with me losing 200 rpm but im sure it was because my initial run weeks ago it was -20c(0f) roughly and today it was nearing the freezing/thawing point, so im betting the loss will be back to normal when it freezes hard again. In the deep snow what a difference, I mean the lug length change is obviously minimal but the design is the difference.
Actually hauls the mail in the deep stuff and on groomed trail that was soft today it spun but hooked up asap where Im sure I remember the ripsaw just trenched a ton on a soft trail.
Overall, Im pleased with the ride and the way it hooks up, its given me a bit of chance in the deeper snow when the time arrives so its a great track all around.
Hoping its a better alternative to the 1.6" cobra tracks as the lugs seem a lot more stiffer on the crossover

Is it a ripsaw one or two? I just went from a 3/4" track to a 2" track and im lovin the switch. I also heard that the crossover is more for the trail with some light off trail capabilities. What is your feedback on that?

Ripsaw 1, for what snow I found I was impressed and I've had all sizes. 2.25",2",1-1-1/4, now 1.5". I would have to agree on what you said though. It'll give me just enough for capability in deeper snow. Not a mtn track by any means but a damn good in between for me. Backcountry would have ate a lot of top end along with having to make a gear change and chain swap this was the most cost effective

I thought the ripsaw track was made for trail use. I've seen it off trail and it did okay, but it trenched like a mofo and I had to lead the way with my 2" sucker. Can't believe they are making a 2" tail lug. At least it will hook up like no other on the trail.
