For anyone using a 1.6" Ice Cobra on a SW or Cat I have a couple questions.
- do you need stud protectors with the pre studded track or is there enough clearance to accommodate the track on a stock sled without any damage?

Funny thing is if you look in this thread there are photos inside my tunnel with the 1.6 Ice cobra on my 17 LTX-LE. Dealer installed the track at initial delivery WITH protectors. I put >4000 mies on it. i'd probably run the same or a 1.75. The 1.6 robs a good bit of top speed. For anyone using a 1.6" Ice Cobra on a SW or Cat I have a couple questions.

2 Up Seat options?
How long do you think it would take to swap the 2-up seat in/out once you've done the initial install?

My sled has 141 x 1.75" Back Country on it already and I am happy with the track but when it needs changing I am looking at going to 144" that is prestudded as there are no 141 track options anymore except the Back Country.
The 144 conversion is pretty simple just need the 2.52" drivers and a 144" track. The 2.52 x 10 drivers will offer less room for the track as compared to the 3" x 8 drivers currently on the sled so I am concerned about the pre studded track doing damage.
The current 1.75" Back Country track still allows GPS speeds in excess of 120mph which is surprising so a 1.6" track should be similar.

Piece of mind would be to just install the oem 3 aluminum tube protector on the rear cooler. I'm assuming those little studs could do some significant scratching of the cooler on a tail landing , etc.. My $.02
