How did you have your Hid kit wired in? Is the power source directly from battery or is it plugged into existing harness?

No i did not make any errors and it was wired the right way..
I got code 12 as a random errorcode because the ecu way burned.. Im not the first one too have these problems..

Maybe you could explain to us how it was wired in and what HID kit you installed so that if there is an issues others could avoid an expensive repair.

It was wired by the existing harness. And directly from the battery..

And it was not a cheap kit..

Its just a warning for others that im saying this.. if you belive my info is wrong,then please ignore this

The kit was a Lumen esytems 35w..

If you wired directly off the sleds headlight system without using a relay or patch cables for protection the ballasts could have back feed the sleds electrical system and caused a failure. Others have not had this issue when using Sledstart or DDM HID kits.

A friend of mine hade the same problem with a
renegade 1200 Mcx, miss fired and stumbled removed the xenon kit and that solved the problem. Didn´t burned any electronics.

Sorry for the late response!

I cant get the location fixed, but i'm from norway so my writing is a bit off..

As i said, i mounted the lumen 35w hid and had big problems with that. The kit was mounted under the headlights.

All of the electronics on my sled was killed because the ecu burned.
This has happened to several yammis here and i'm surprised if you never heard
Of this in the us..

I know several ski doo,s having the same fault..
