Nytro died this weekened on the trail. Error codes 46 and 12. Yamaha says its a blown starter caused by a faulty starter relay trying to continuously run the starter. I am guessing this caused the #12 fault which is crankshaft position indicator.
They are replacing the starter and relay under warrenty. Problem is the motor needs to come out to access.
Has anyone had any electrical issues with these sleds? I know handwarmers etc but I had two dealers tell me of possible battery/stator troubles related to incorrect battery charging?

My starter relay freezes up when it´s cold so the starter never kicks in. If I heat it gently with a ligther for a couple of seconds it works fine. Will contact my Yamaha dealer after Easter Holidays.
