136 Mono to 144

well, Still no pictures because of skid nstall problems....
I found out why I am having so much trouble getting the skid back in - Hartman sent the wrong rail extensions! :o| :o| :o|

I'm hoping he gets the right ones to me in time enough for me to get it on the snow this weekend. I'll post pictures and a ride report when that happens.

I know this was from a long, long time ago, but did ya ever get it all puit back together????? How have you liked the 144" track?????? any pics?

Sorry - never did get photos posted, but did get her back together again - the right parts help!

It's a good improvement, looks good with the 2 inch paddle. But I'd say for what I was looking for - float on powder - I would go even longer.

It still sinks a bit and feels heavy, but some adjustments to the control bar improved that at the end of the season last year. Bottom line - it's a heavy sled, still has darting problems and still needs more to float thru powder. I'm pretty convinced that the skid on these things is the major culprit.

I probably should have went with a lighter sled for around here, but my next step is to put some Skidoo pilot skis on. My wife has a new Skidoo Tundra with them on it and it steers like a dream power steering machine.....
