OK I called Fish at Motorsports Plus (Sledhead 24/7 guy) to see what his experience has been. He said he has done several 121 to 136 extension kits from tracksUSA with good success on the mono shock Apex machines. He told me if I were to purchase the 136 Attak skid then I would have to redrill my tunnel and put in new support plates at new locations. Not worth it IMO.

Thats what I had to do, but the plates go right in the same place, most of the same holes.
Guess it al comes down to is that the distance between the rear axle and the fixed wheels under the tunnel must remain the same. If you put on 7.5 inch rail extension you got to move the fixed wheels back the same distance. Thats what Yamaha did with the attak, and always thought it looked kind of dumb. I never understood why until very lately.
