Doing my carbs soon!

THANKS!!!

screens

removeing the screens does not effect the jetting it just keeps the float bowel full at high rpms so that your jetting is the same all of the time not leaning out in some condtions ie hi flow times . i run 137.5,s and needles rased one clip with no screens and my plugs run just a nice lite tan as is layed out in the shop manual :D

needles & jetting

hi guys lots info is needed i see lowered clips to rase the needles installed 137.5 mains removed screens . the needle and seat still control the level of gas in the bowels just look in the back of you toilt it does not matter if you fill it with a 3/8 line or a 4 in line the needle still stops the flow at its cut of level. and at a steady cruse at about 60-70 mph i get about 19-19.5 mph cdn if i slow down it gets better two of us running at the same speed my bud with anther rx 1 and with same jetting in about 180 km ride (thats one way to ear falls) are one liter differnce in a fill up the only thing that has came close in milage is a xc8 leaned down and with a tempa flow but that only lasted a for 1.5 more trips till the moter sawed it self in half. i guess those pesky two strokes dont like to be run that lean for that long .note that that did not include the oil that they burn. this is mostly all lake running with maybe 200ft of portage on land and some water skiping in the narows its all good :D

jetting

note that this year i an running 10 touth drivers with 32-40 gearing and 7.5 in rear wheels with green carb springs and dial in cam timming we just have to see how this will work o yes a 9830 track. ckeck your front left axle bearing mine was full of rust and i had to repace it, its all good stuff 8)

jettig

we ride in north western ontario about 3.5 hours north west of thunder bay and about 3.5 hours east of winnpeg. no air box mods yet still working out the details with just the jetting that i was running and posted and i got 119.2 radar in the spring at +20c (68f) in about 2000ft 8)

jetting

no the only thing i did to the skid was let the limwters out and trans rods set to full transfer. lowered front by backing off the springs to there weakest setting. fra set to lite and carbides still on no studs :D
