Does anyone have these one there RX1, and how do they work. I am wondering if they are worth it.
Great update for more agressive clutching, go for it!

I have used them in my sleds since 2001. They increase drive belt side pressure at take off and low rpms reducing belt slippage by a lot, keeping your primary clutch cooler. Longer belt life is also a benefit of going with smaller rollers.

Installing the 14.5 mm rollers will slightly lower engagement rpms and upshift will get more aggressive which may lower shift rpms some. You may have to change your clutching if shift rpms drops too much, 10200-10400 rpms is where peak power is produced.

The 14.5's help alot with belt slippage and belt life. You will not smell the belt burning at slow speed The price is not that bad either. It is an old trick for Yamaha, they should put them in from the factory
Who sells them? Yamaha? Thanks alot! Jay

So... i don't quite understand this. smaller rollers make the weights act as if they were heavier, therefore lowering engagement and shift RPM.
What does a smaller roller yield as opposed to adding weight to the primary? How do they differ if they are essentially doing the same thing? I guess i just need a little help sorting this out lol.

Most go for three. Things can explode if you just use one. :ORCzook said:Does anyone have these one there RX1
