I'm just curious if anyone has come across or heard of this scenario before? My reverse did not work for a few hundred miles at the end of last season. The sled had no issues starting whatsoever. The last ride of the season the sled overheated causing it to throw codes and shut down immediately. After that it would crank but not fire. The reverse motor was replaced along with the fuse. Apparently the sled fired right up once the shorted reverse servo motor and blown reverse fuse was replaced. The no start apparently had noting to do with the overheat. The dealer said the sled would not fire because of the open in the reverse circuit. Does the reverse circuit or fuse tie into anything ignition related? Would an open in the reverse circuit cause a crank but no fire scenario?
I believe it could since there is a sensor which checks position of reverse mechanism. If its not in correct position its supposed to kill the sled. Imagine the open circuit did same thing. Should be able to test this theory by just pulling that same fuse and see if same thing happens.
