144" top end?

I finally went for my first ride after alot of B.S. and I'm pretty impressed with the mods I did over the summer

I extended my Attak to a 144" with a ripsaw which is studded, I didn't play with any clutching it's the same setup I had in my RX1 MTN which is HH in the primary and a shockwave helix on the secondary, I seen 114mph on the speedo which impressed me and I still need to get some more RPM since I was only rev'ing at 10,400

I want to know what everyones top speed is with their 144" Apex's just for comparison

100 mph tops. This is with a 1.5 " lug track and GPS.

I didn't take my GPS out to get an actual speed but with my RX1 my speedo was spot on with the gun every pass I did so I was hoping it was close with my Attak

once I dial in my clutching I'll take my GPS out and get some actual numbers

Did you post on what kind of extension system you put on the Attak? I'm thinking of doing it. I've got near 9k now and would like to change driveshaft,etc.

121" rails with muffin works extensions
144" studded ripsaw
Fox Floats in the front
Mega Float in the rear
4 Bullseye air intake in the breather lid
new Yami bogie wheels
home made beef up kit for the mono
VVME HID's
Yamaha MTN skis
heavy hitter weights in the primary
Shockwave helix on the secondary but I might play around with my Heel X roller secondary later

I dont understand how your rx1 speedo can be spot on with any radar gun or gps,unless someone ground off two teeth on the pick up gear,all apex/rx1 sleds sense 03 have and do run 15 mph higher than said speed,my 03 rx1 131 speedo 117 gps,my 06 apex 133 speedo 118 gps,maybe you have one of the best speedos we have seen,lets hope so,now the nytros,sense 08 have had much closer speedos.

must be a magical sled, it had stock gearing, 9T doo extros and a 1 1/4"X151" ripsaw, nobody ground down my speedo gear, the speedo was showing what the radar was reading

the only way the rx speedo is radar accurate is with 10 tooth drivers, so maybe the 9 tooth doo extros are the same diameter (8 inches), otherwise it reads high.

not sure what top end of my '11 apex xtx is yet. not enough snow for long stretch. but for a little less than 600' i had it dialed in on groomed trail and gpsed at 180km per hour. i will post more info once trails and snow comes. Pretty tough to catch anyone at that speed vs distance
