That's cool. Srxspec, Is it ok for the RPM to climb at the end like that? Also on my Attak I would kind of like to drop the engaugement RPM as I do alot of woods rideing. I don't race at all so I was planning on puting a primary spring with less preload. This might also reduce some of the engine breaking, Seems like alot of engine breaking. Was also thinking of keeping the RPM at around 10100. Is that ok? Thanks

The RPM climbing at the end of a long run is either running out of gear or the white secondary spring is beginning to bind, but it won't hurt anything. If you want to drop the engagement rpm and keep the RPM down around 10,100 you will need to purchase a Y-P-Y primary spring as it has lower preload and slight lower total force to keep the rpm's down.

Thanks... I had orderd a Y-P-Y From my dealer and it came in yesterday. Got a chance to try it last night. Way better for the way I ride. Also I set the secondary twist angle to 40deg. Funny thing is even with the quicker upshift now this 150 still pulls near 10000 RPM With only 200 miles on it,
And the engine seems to sound alot less buisy at lower rpm. Engages at just under 3000 RPM. Perfect! love it! I also put a larger lower gear in the chain case for a little lower gear ratio . Thanks again for your help.
