- 2015 Sr Viper RTX LE
My friend wants to know is buying the 16 worth the extra money over a 15? I am Not sure so I am asking for him, he is also considering an XRS 800. I told him out of the hole the Viper should be able to stay with it for the first few hundred feet, after that it will get walked on. He was wondering from the people who own a Viper and ride with an XRS can a viper rtx le keep up with the XRS when it gets really rough? Does it corner and handle as good as an XRS?basically wants a comparison if you guys would be so kind, thank you in advanced.

What model Viper is he buying?

We ride together on the weekends on tughill so it will probably be in rtx Le or maybe an se. I told him I think the rear skid alone in the LE is worth going with it over the SE and then you can sell the Fox floats that are on it for like $1,000 and then just buy the Axis pros that he likes so much

The XRS has more power, is lighter, and the CG is much lower due to lower motor placement in the chassis. Can't see a Viper keeping up. Too many compromises in Viper design along with the higher weight of the 4 stroke. Not saying I want an 800 2 stroke but there are things it does better than a Viper.

You have air shocks up front? I heard that the ProCross chassis does not like air shocks is that true?
