Sorry buddy, I used an Arctic Cat M7 skid and if I remember right, I don't think I had to deal with that issue.
I know that's not much help but, isn't that bracket part of the stock skid?
Take care buddy

Hey
Yes that bracket is part of the stock skid. I think I have solved the problem...
I had to cut and shape the brackets, so that they're flat another 2-3cm down from the top nut.
Removal of all 3 nuts on each bracket were necessary, I had top replace them with carrage bolts from the inside out, and then used locking nuts outside the tunnel.

When you installed the carrage bolts, how did you turn the existing holes into squares? Anyone have photos of their drop out brackets?

I just took a round chain saw (round) file, and took away some material in the hole. It didn't become a square, but enough to get the carrage bolt to fit.
Just start to grind in 4 corners, then you're redy to go

Don't think I took some pictures
